Deadlock
Accolade, Inc.

Some of the concept drawings done for Accolade's game "Deadlock". These were intended to provide design specs for building the 3-D models for the military units for all the various species in the game. As frequently happens with games, only a few of the models were eventually built and used in the game due to design revisions, memory limits and so on. Deadlock was a successful game for Accolade, and it is a great resource/strategy game.

Ch'Cht Military Units. The Ch'Cht race were colonial, insectoid with a hard carapce and tough adversaries in the game.
Cyth Ground Unit Cyth Water Unit Cyth Air Unit
Cyth Military Units. The flying unit was built and used in the game as a generic airborne unit.
Human Air Unit

Human Military Units. The Tank was built and used extensively in the game.

Maug and Skirineen Units. The Maug were a technological race with various diseases weakening them due to technological pollution. The Skirineen were a little-know mysterious race that were mainly smugglers and fences.

Re'lu Units. The Re'lu were pictured as similar to the common idea of aliens from all the alien sighting stories.
Tarth Units Tarth Space Colony Ship
Tarth Units. Tarth were a large lumbering slow race that were massive and hard to beat.

Uva Mosk Units. The Uva Mosk were a race that valued ecology and created their technology based on organic materials and forms.
